The Marina Office is back to normal Winter opening hours after the Christmas break. Winter hours are Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri: 08:00 – 12:30 and 13:00 – 17:00. Wed: 08:30 – 13:00. As always, Marina Security may be contacted 24/7 on 7933 7249.
A Dinghy, Serial Number FRXDCX56441900 S/N 0138, with Yamaha 5HP 2 stroke engine, Serial Number 5C56E35165563, was stolen on the night of the 22nd November from a yacht berthed in the Marina.
The Marina Office maintains a list of stolen items. Prospective buyers are advised to contact the Marina Office if offered items cheaply, to help stamp out the market for stolen gear.
A set of keys has been found on Pontoon L. The keys are being kept at the Marina Office and may be collected at your convenience. Always check with the Marina Office in the event of losing small items, they may have been found by Marina Security or handed in by other Marina users.
As per NTM #99 of 2011, live firing practice will be carried out at the Pembroke Ranges during the months of November and December 2011, between 0700 and 17oo. Red flags will be flown from the shore limits during firing. Mariners must keep 4 nautical miles offshore when flags are sighted, and obey instructions from the AFM.
Congratulations to Marina resident yachts Artie, Otra Vez and Jaru, who placed overall 1st, 3rd and 4th respectively in the Royal Malta Yacht Club’s 32nd edition of the Rolex Middle Sea Race. Great Stuff!
